Get Walking Day to be held on Sunday 23 May 2010
75th Anniversary of Ramblers - celebrate 75th anniversary in 2010. Click here for more information.
The Severnside walk arranged for 23 Jan 2010 is designated the 75th Anniversary Baton Walk to celebrate 75 years of the Ramblers.
Ramblers launch 'one stop shop' for new walkers. New Get Walking site an all-you-need walking resource centre www.getwalkingkeepwalking.co.uk

Dates for Committee Meetings are 14 April, 14 July, 13 Oct 2010 and 12 Jan 2011.
20 March 2010 - Quiz Night at Filton Golf Club, please reply by 8 March.
The annual Festival of Winter Walks was held over the period 26 Dec 2009 - 3 Jan 2010. We had walks in the following areas:
Clifton and surroundings - with varied and interesting views of Bristol.
Sharpness - lovely mix of industrial heritage, open countryside, river views and canal boats. Possibly an odd bird or two for the bird watchers amongst us.
Beechenhurst - Varied woodland walk, no stiles, many well defined paths including disused railway line. Covers parts of Sculpture Trail and Gloucestershire Way.
Bristol - A walk from Durdham Down. Secret footpaths of north Bristol taking in Blaise Castle, Kings Weston and Sea Mills.
